Aerosmiths third release, Toys in the Attic made them international stars. Lead single,Sweet Emotion became their first top 40 hit. In 1987 Aerosmith released their biggest selling album in over a decade, Permanent Vacation. The Nine Lives tour was troubled, but in 1998 Aerosmiths fortunes would change once again. On January 28, 2014, Mötley Crüe held a press conference at Beacher's Madhouse Theater in Hollywood, where they announced a final tour.
