Only true legends of rock music are known by one word. As with Elvis everyone knows the name of the most creative and influential rock artist of all time: BOWIE. Bowie was in a state of permanent revolution, constantly re-inventing his persona and sound. He defied any label that the music industry tried to place on him. From Thin White Duke to soulful rocker; music, art, fashion and sexuality were Bowies playthings - he was truly an artistic chameleon.

Mike Rosenberg's crafted some of the very best observational songwriting of the year with his lovely new album, All the Little Lights. It's a lush, acoustic collection he's complemented with the perfect epithet in Passenger. The lyrics and the stories, explains the young, Brighton-born-and-bred musician, are told from the perspective of a passenger just watching the world go by. For his stirring session in our music room, Mike spun tales of a lonely afternoon on a riverbank in Glasgow Scotland (Feather On the Clyde), the hard appreciation that spawns only in the wake of personal loss (Let Her Go) and a reminder that the present moment is everything (Life's for the Living). It's an emotional performance; a journey you'll be grateful to be a passenger aboard.

Filmed at the landmark Chicago Theatre, just 250 miles away from his upbringing in Indiana, this cinematic concert documentary film captures John Mellencamp reflecting on his career accompanied by self-narration from his highly personal audio diary on his Midwestern upbringing, career and outlook on life as a whole. Ozzy Osbourne is one of the most iconic figures in rock and one of the founding fathers of heavy metal. God Bless Ozzy Osbourne tells for the first time the story of his career from the founding of Black Sabbath through to solo stardom and his wider fame beyond. These were the wild days of his prodigious drug and alcohol intake, of biting the head from a dove at a record company meeting and biting into a bat on stage but also of the tragic death of Randy Rhoads and the reality TV show The Osbournes. The film follows Ozzy's torturous and emotionally fraught journey from excess to sobriety, which Ozzy regards as his greatest accomplishment. Featuring never before seen footage, new interviews with Ozzy himself, his family, his bandmates, and those who both inspired him and were inspired by him, this is the first film to take viewers inside the mind and psyche of this legendary figure.

It's been a crazy year for Donald Glover, but nothing has been more blazing than his career as rapper Childish Gambino. The project, born of a Wu-Tang name generator, is full of witty, rambunctious energy, as he effortlessly demonstrates in his session at Rockwood Music Hall. Along with collaborator and musical guru Ludwig Gransson on electric guitar, Gambino rips through tracks from his wildly popular EP as well as the lead single from his debut album Camp (out now on Glassnote Records). From introspection to love to pop culture and punny metaphors, Gambino runs an impressive lyrical gammit, one that inspires all the vital decision making organs.

While the nails were starting to be driven into the hippie generation's coffin, an L.A. band would cast an influence and signal a new movement of musical artistry that would prove to be a hard act to follow. In the late-60's, the Doors would help lead a new musical revolution that would throw a middle finger in the face of society and distance itself from all the turmoil that shaped the political climate by literally creating mass hysteria on their own. This concert, filmed in 1968 during the Band's tour across Europe, include live performances of 'Spanish Caravan', 'Five to One', and two versions of 'Light My Fire'.

Live In Germany was filmed at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany for the Rockpalast TV series. Hot on the heels of their classic Deguello album (it features 9 of the 10 songs from it) the show finds ZZ Top before sequencers and synthesizers epitomising their lil' ol' blues band from Texas nickname. Complimented by tracks drawn predominantly from their Tres Hombres and Fandango! albums this is a true best of ZZ Top in the seventies.

This is a documentary film about the build-up, making, release, and - crucially - music contained on this most revered of albums. With the aid of rare and classic performances, scarce interviews, seldom seen photographs and contributions from those involved in the making of the record - plus the review and critique from a panel of Zeppelin experts - this program finally lifts the lid on what many believe to be Led Zep's very finest offering. With contributions from; the album's engineer, Ron Nevison; former Yardbird, Chris Dreja; Swansong recording artist, Maggie Bell; author of The Rough Guide to Led Zeppelin, Nigel Williamson; Tight But Loose editor, Dave Lewis; Classic Rock Magazine's Malcolm Dome; renowned guitar tutor and author, Rikky Rooksby and Robert Plant biographer, Neil Daniels. This is the complete story behind what what Rolling Stone called their Tommy, Beggar's Banquet and Sgt. Pepper rolled into one.
